Believed to be the first large exhibition of Chinese Pendants of this period in the world. The only previous known exhibitions had been held by Liberty's of London in 1919 and 1925 of a small number entitled 'Jade Amulets'.

mouth and another baby dragon clambering to the side.

feeding, and a complicated design of leaves and ruyi fungus, with leaves to one side.

duck, her head pointing backwards while trying to eat water weed, her wings folded by her side.
Towards her tail is a baby duck with her neck folded around and head also to one side curled to
eat a piece of water weed.

Nephrite, mutton fat with a light russet skin representing the skin of the pebble; carved with the
body representing a pearl and a large dragon, the upper part of it protecting the pearl with two

carved with two large quail eating at the stalks of ruyi fungus whilst sitting on an artemis leaf.

mushroom. Around one of the stems of the mushrooms is a bi disc carved loosely to turn freely
from the same material as the whole body.

display and sprays of ruyi fungus which are also being bitten by a dragon, which mingle within the
lines of the carving of the duck.

un-carved and polished, the inside white area, vigorously carved with two writhing chi dragons.

Nephrite, white mutton fat with darker brown olive skin, the white carved with a mother cat and
younger cat playing together, the older cats ear's carved from the darker olive along with the bat on
its back. The younger cat is with a brown bat on its back too and both cats are resting on an
artemis leaf.

under side with a cicada, its wings folded towards the base of the pendant, the other side with its
legs gripping a pea pod with leaves.
