White nephrite pendant.

Nephrite, mutton fat, carved as a square plaque, each side with a panel, one with two seated ladies reading a book together the top part well carved with two confronting dragons. The reverse is also with two confronting dragons but the tablet is carved in relief with a long inscription signed by Zigang.

Chinese, 18th Century.
Attachments: Green glass bead, seed pearls and brown cord.
