Nephrite, white with small russet areas of skin left un-carved, the body carved with a beautiful swooping stylised bird with ruyi fungus in its beak the other side with swirling leaves and ruyi fungus.

Chinese, 18th Century.
Attachments: Tourmaline bead, seed pearls and brown cord.
