A carved Guri lacquer netsuke.

A guri Lacquer and metal pendant, snuff bottle (also used as a netsuke) in the form of a double gourd. Carved over all with cloud scrolls to show the red and black layers.

This piece forms a good link between all these collections, as it could have been used as a netsuke, a snuff bottle, a pendant and it is also lacquer!
