Tied Sack Handling Piece
Celadon pebble jade.

A celadon pebble jade carving of a sack that is tied with a long ribbon, carved
in relief, together with a peony flower. A bat is on one side of the sack.
Chinese, 17/18th century.
Provenance: Spink 1989.
Dimensions: 7.6cm long x 4.5cm wide x 2.2cm depth.

Good use of the stone's colour and natural pebble form, good subtle low relief
carving.
